Well, kids, it's that time of year again. 'Tis the season for romantic holiday themed dates, Christmas-y romantic comedies, and your cousin being so adorable with her new boyfriend at the dinner table. If you're finding yourself alone under the mistletoe, you're not alone.

1. Your friends and relatives are happily coupled and all dressed up with their significant other, so you're the go-to photographer.

2. Grandma asks if you're seeing anyone new.

3. And you really identify with the ladies of "Saturday Night Live."

4. Your sister and her boyfriend exchange gifts and they're really good.

5. You're allowed a plus-one at the holiday party.

6. Lifetime keeps playing terrible romantic holiday movies that you hate to love.

7. But it ends up being a real bonding experience for you, your mom, and your dog.

8. You go out to dinner with your friends and their significant others, and they split a meal.

9. Why can't Christmas songs be solely about Jesus and snow and Santa?

Why they gotta bring love into the mix?

10. As if the cliché of mistletoe kisses wasn't enough, you've still got New Year's Eve to look forward to!

The first two weeks of classes have come to an end and they have been anything BUT easy. It seems like life has been serving up more bad than good and in all honesty, the only thing you want to do is crawl under your covers and hide from the rest of the world.

Although this seems like the best solution, it is also the easy way out. Take it from the girl who took basically a whole week off from her life because she just could not handle everything that was being thrown at her. This caused her to feel extremely lonely and even more stressed out for being behind in classes that JUST began.
