If you are anything like me, chocolate is a big part of your life and you cannot imagine life without it. You think about it a couple times a day and you definitely have your favorite brands (mine are Hershey, Ghiradelli and Dove) and question why some of them may also make body soaps. You also have tried several different microwavable mug brownie recipes just to find that they really aren't that good (if you have found a good one, PLEASE let me know!). If you are looking for a best rated list of them, this article is not for you. This article is all about different uses for chocolate in chocolate desserts. I have not made any but will definitely try most (if not all) of them this summer! Those that make the cut will be saved, printed, and hung proudly in apartment I am sharing with a couple friends on campus next semester. That being said, in no particular order are the recipes and links- Enjoy! And if you have any recipes you absolutely LOVE please share them below!
1. Chocolate Peanut Butter No-Bake Dessert from Flavorite
Using oreos, peanut butter, peanut butter cups and chocolate pudding, the only downside to this recipe looks to be the three hour chilling period.
2. Soft Batch Double Chocolate Cookies from Just So Tasty
After checking this recipe out as well as the comments at the bottom of the page, it seems like the only issue with this cookie is pacing yourself eating them. Now that I would have a huge problem with...
3. Hot Fudge Pudding Cake from Life in the Lofthouse
This is a terrible post I decided to write. Want to know why? All of the ingredients to make this are common items that we seem to have a surplus of in my house: sugar, cocoa poweder, flour, baking poder, salt, milk, buter, eggs, vanillla extract, chocolate chips and water... Guess who's looking forward to having a Girls Day!
4. Triple Chocolate Brownie Batter Cookies from Averie Cooks
No, no, no, and no. Brownie batter? Really? I absolute love brownies and brownie batter (small amounts in moderation of course). Our oven is broken and we have a couple boxes of brownie mix and this looks so heavenly. There are three kinds of chocolate in this cookie: melted dark chocolate, cocoa powder and chocolate chips. This seems to be the ultimate chocolate cookie.
5. Reese's Chocolate Peanut Butter Tart from Life Love and Sugar
For those of you who don't know, my birthday is coming up this weekend and I will never say no to any of these chocolate desserts. Or Reeses. Or Oreos.
6. Triple Chocolate Mousse Cake from OMG Chocolate Dessert
In this, there is a bittersweet chocolate mousse, a milk chocolate mousse, and a dark chocolate cake. Now the real question- where is this in my life?
7. Molten Chocolate Lava Cakes from Cooking Class
One comments on this article suggested a wonderful idea for this recipe: starting the day off with one of these bad boys for breakfast.
To all my chocolate-lovers out there, always remember -
