I'm sure you all heard of "The Sims 4," which launched last year. Well, I've compiled a list as to why one should give this game a chance. Yes, there are cons to this game; however, I feel the pros are overlooked too often within the "Sims" community.

1. The graphics are amazing.

The difference in graphics is significantly astounding. They improve every upgrade and the sims look more humanlike.

2. The interactions are much more realistic.

You can multitask. Multitasking was something that lacked in "The Sims 3"; there were limitations to multitasking. Now you can eat and drink at the same time.

3. The emotions are more complex.

Emotions play a significant role in impacting your sims' performance on their tasks. Not only that, you can incorporate your current dominant emotion into your activities. For example, if you're painting while angry, you can choose to paint an "angry painting" (it's more effective if you do it while you're angry) and if you choose to not sell it, you can hang it up anywhere and enable the emotion to create that aura in the room, compelling your sims' emotions to change. It's awesome.

I also love the fact that your emotions can be more than just plain happy, sad, angry, bored -- they can now be very happy, very sad, very angry, very bored, and so on.

4. You can play with more than one family.

Yes, you heard correctly: You can play with more than one active family, without having to start from scratch, as you did in "The Sims 3."

5. The Get To Work expansion pack.

Rabbit-hole jobs were one of my biggest pet peeves in "The Sims 3." I was curious to see what they were doing inside their workplace. The Ambitions expansion pack was a joy; however, I enjoy having the ability to choose whether or not I want to follow my sims to their workplace. One of my sims has the doctor career, so I have the option of going to the hospital with them, which is awesome!

6. The relationships are more humanlike.

If you enable autonomy, your sims automatically do autonomous things without your control. My favorite thing about this control is how relationships impact it. My spousal sims autonomously do romantic things with one another if my control isn't on them at the moment and I think it's cute. If a sim doesn't like another, they instigate conflict, which is hilarious to watch when it occurs.

7. The resemblance in family members.

I like that the offspring attribute physical qualities from both parents. See how each child below resembles the parents?

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
