6 Signs You're Ready For Christmas

Halloween season is officially over which means Christmas season has officially begun. If you take a look around your local mall you may notice red and green everything and Christmas music faintly playing in the background. This serves as a subtle reminder that Christmas is just around the corner and you need to be prepared. Here are some signs you're so ready for the holiday:

Peppermint Everything.

Starbucks just brought the holiday flavors back which means your pumpkin spice latte has now become a peppermint mocha.

You find yourself singing Christmas songs randomly.

They’re so catchy and ‘All I Want for Christmas is You’ by Mariah Carey is a classic any time of year.

You have your wish-list all filled out.

Let’s be honest, you’ve been working on this year’s wish-list since last Christmas.

You’ve already done all your shopping.

We haven’t even reached Black Friday but you already have the perfect gifts for everyone, or you just bought everyone socks because they were on sale in bulk.

Your decorations are already up.

Don’t be that person. The day after Halloween is way too early for your Santa lawn ornament.

You binge watch Christmas movies.

Now that you’re done re-watching Hocus Pocus a million times you can start watching Elf over and over again.

Autumn is my favorite time of the year. The leaves change, pumpkin spice everything hits the shelves (thank you, world!), the 13 Nights of Halloween on Freeform (formerly abcfamily) and the temperature drops. Well, the temperature is supposed to drop. Being in south Alabama, however, means that the temperature may be relatively low early in the mornings, but you're still going to suffer in the afternoon. So if the weather outside isn't getting you in the Autumn mood, maybe these Spotify playlists will help you slip into that wonderful, Autumn state of mind.

As human beings, there are just some things that seem to bring us all together with the same sense of irritation. Here are a few of those annoying things that make my list. I'm sure at least some, if not most, of them make yours as well. If you can think of any more relatable annoyances that I've missed, feel free to comment on this article and let me know!

I have never understood why grown-ups complain when the leaves are all off the trees, and the temperatures take a decided turn towards the zero on the thermometer. I hear complaints about the impending winter weather, and the driving in the snow and ice. We live in Pennsylvania, so I bite my tongue instead of stating the obvious: Maybe you should move to a warmer climate?
