I love my cat with all my heart. If you own a pet and are anything like me, you probably already know that said pet has taken over your life. That being said, you're probably totally okay with your obsession--and here's how you know.
(Featuring my cat, Yugi)
1. You have a photo album on your phone or computer dedicated to them.
With so many pictures of your pet, which is perfectly acceptable by you.
2. You have declined social events because you want to just spend time with your pet.
It happens to all of us. Especially when you’re having a bad day, you want that extra furry comfort.
3. You have an Instagram account for your pet.
Or really any social media account dedicated just to this pet that you hold dear. I know I do (if you wanna follow him on Instagram it is @yugi_meowto).
4. Your Snapchat is about 70% your pet and 30% you.
And when your friends complain about it, you don’t care.
5. You talk to them like a person.
This can include giving them nicknames, referring to them as your children, or asking them to do stuff for you and actually expecting them to follow through.
6. You’re constantly finding pet hair everywhere.
Everywhere. On your clothes. On your furniture. In your bag. On your shoe. And this genius invention above is your best friend; well, after your pet.
7. You always think about them and try to get them gifts.
When you leave for a vacation or extended amount of time, the first thing you look for is a present for your pet. And after a couple days, you miss their presence and company.
While there are many more signs to prove you're obsessed with your pets, these are just the ones that I discovered.
