We all hear or read about people saying they're the mom or the dad friend, but why do we never hear about the grandparent friend? You know, the friend who strangely reminds you of your grandma or grandpa.

If one of your friends don't automatically pop into your mind while you read this, then congrats, you're probably the friend of the group. Here are some signs that will show if you're the grandparent friend.

1. 8 p.m. became the new 3 a.m.

Nothing makes me happier than getting a full night of sleep.

2. You'd rather sleep on a Saturday night, than go out with your friends

3. You can't stay up to date with the newest lingo

How the hell do you guys come up with this crap?!

4. Can't keep up with all the dances that are coming out

5. You find it hard to understand what people are saying in their music these days

Okay, but can anyone actually understand them?

6. You complain that the music sucks and insist that someone changes the station

7. Always complaining that something hurts

All grandparent friends need life alert.

8. Or just always complaining

9. You often refer back to your days, even though you're one of the youngest in the group

It seems like my childhood was so long ago.

10. Operating technology is like rocket science to you

11. You have a favorite spot to sit and watch your favorite show

And you probably get pissed off when you see someone else sit in your spot.

12. Things have to get repeated to you five times before you just give up on trying to hear

Just smile, nod, and pretend like you heard them.

13. Tell jokes worst than dad jokes

Where else do you think your father or mother got their sense of humor from?
