Everyone knows that every friend group has a mom, but what if you're the one that's always being mom-ed? Here's nine signs that you might be the child of your friend group.
1. You've been told you're a bad influence.
You're the friend that's always pushing everyone else to do the mildly bad thing they probably shouldn't do. So what if they're trying to save up this summer? There's always enough room in the budget for new things from VS, right? And there's no reason why everyone can't party on a Tuesday night. So what if they work tomorrow? Live a little!
2. You're the one everyone is always watching out for at parties.
When the squad goes out, everyone knows you'll be the one who ends up getting carried home. No matter how many times you swear you're only going to have one drink. It just always happens and you have no control over it. No shame.
3. Your friends rarely trust your judgment.

4. Your friends double check everything you do.
"Did you remember your ticket?" "Are you actually wearing underwear?" "Where's your phone?" Honestly they don't trust you to keep track of your own head and it's attached to you.
5. You feel the need to get everything approved by the squad.
You never buy an outfit, message that cutie back on Tinder, or order a meal without checking in the group chat first. Honestly, you'll probably be standing at the alter waiting for their nods before saying "I do."
6. You are NEVER the DD.
Honestly they just don't trust you to be that responsible. And honestly they don't like how you drive when you're sober so why even mess with it? Whatever, you're having more fun than them anyway.
7. Your friends just get it when you say you need a nap or a snack.
You need a lot more sleep than some of your other friends and they give you crap for your regular nap taking. And don't even get me started on snacking... your car is stuffed full of granola bars and fruit snack wrappers and your friends don't even question it anymore.
8. You feel like you're always being babysat.
They're constantly reminding you of all the things that you'd probably forget on your own (but you'd never admit that to them and you swear you remembered it). "Take your medicine." "Write that paper." "Feed your fish." and "Refill your prescription." are all regular texts in your phone.
9. Sometimes you swear you're going to grow up, but at the end of the day your friends love you for who you are.
You may not be as responsible as the mom and there are definitely times where you promise things are going to change, but when it's all said and you are who you are and your friends love you that way.
