There is no such thing as boundaries.
Showering and peeing with the bathroom door open, sharing everything, and asking the questions nobody really wants to be asked.

Their closets are your closets, and vice versa.
We all love getting that text reading: "Hey can I borrow this?" When, in reality, you know they already walked out the door in it and remembered that they'll see you later.

You’re not afraid to tell them to shut up.
What's the point of being roomies if you can't tell them to shut their mouths and that you love them in the same sentence?
It’s not out of the ordinary to snuggle.
Sometimes you just really need some roomie-to-roomie contact, no questions asked.
Your calendars are synced.
Why ask them what time they have class when you can just check the mega-calendar?
And so are your ‘times of the month.’
I don't think anybody needs a descriptive photo for this one. But you know that it always happens, and when that time comes, you scare yourselves with how intense it gets.
You intentionally annoy each other, just like siblings.
A little death glare can go a long way. As can a passive aggressive note. Just another sign that you guys are super comfortable with each other, even when you're grumpy.
You (literally) always know where they are.
If they haven't actively alerted you that they've gone somewhere, you can just look them up on Find Your Friends because their location is indefinitely shared with you.
You all rejoice over the smallest, silliest, and weirdest things.
Celebrating as a room is so much more fun than celebrating alone.
You always have a back-up date ready.
Boys are nice sometimes, but when they don't pull through, you always have your roomies.

Your parents are just as invested in their lives as they are in yours.
“How’s (insert roomie name here) doing? Did that boy she was talking to ask her out yet?"
On select occasions, you assemble like The Avengers and clean up pretty dang well.
At least for the sake of getting one decent picture.

You'd pick a movie night with them over any party.
Don't get me wrong, going out is cool, too. But nothing quite beats staying in with the roomies and a few bags of popcorn.
You're not afraid to be 150 percent yourself around them.
They experience you from dusk to dawn, and all of the crazy times in between.

When you're separated, it feels like something is missing.
Even if it's just for the weekend, things always seem off without the whole fam around. Summer and Winter breaks are (obviously) times to come and visit each other and video chat like there's no tomorrow!
At the end of the day, you’re always there for each other.
Ohana means family, and family means nobody gets left behind. You're like the dedicated soccer mom, showing up to the choir concerts and IM sports games. But you're also there when boys screw everything up (you know who you are), midterms are driving everyone up the wall, and a pint of Ben & Jerry's must be consumed asap.
DISCLAIMER:
Obviously this article was a pretty intimate look into mine and my roommates' lives. Just wanted to say, when you guys reads this, I love you three so much and I don't know what I ever did to deserve such amazing roomies. Thank you for being the best second family I could ever ask for.
