Going away to boarding school can be one of the greatest feelings since you're away from your parents, but that independence can be burden sometimes! Living alone has its perks but also comes with a lot of responsibilities most young adults don't experience until they go off to college. If you can relate to all of the points then you definitely experienced the typical boarding school life.

1. You mastered the art of laundry at a young age.

Laundry, what is laundry?

2. Your transition from high school to college was breezy.

Homesickness? Laundry? Same old cafeteria food? Bad mattress? Small closet space? Experienced it all.

3. You had to play sports even if you weren't athletic.

Mandatory sports made you stronger than ever and revealed your inner athlete

4. You know the struggles of lights out and the internet turning off at approximately 12:00 a.m.

You just wait for your dorm parent to leave so you can turn those lights on again and do your homework! And when you finally finish that homework:

5. You know how to tie a tie without even looking at yourself in the mirror.

Boys, you knew how to put yourself together, no matter whatever kind of day you were having!

6. Do you even follow the dress code, bro?

You definitely broke your dress code at least once or twice or maybe a couple of 100 times while you were in boarding school. And this is how you felt when no one figured out that you broke the dress code:

7. Having to had to endure two hours of study hall every night even when you didn't have homework.

The longest two hours of your life!

8. Your teachers follow the gossip as much as you do!

Privacy was a privilege!

9) Being dormed was probably the worst thing that ever happened to you.

When you don't get to see your friends who live in a different dorm for the whole night, you know you aren't going to have the greatest night. So much frustration.

10. And the next worst thing was having your phone taken away.

When your teachers or dorm parents take your phone away for walking around with it outside or being on it during study hall. It starts seeming like the world may fall apart.

11. You never ever trusted your food in the communal fridge.

And you finally decide you are never going to keep your food in that fridge ever again!

12. Your friends definitely took your clothes and your towel away from you at least once while you were in shower.

This prank never gets old!

13. You always had to ask for permission to go out, even if it was to the building 30 steps away.

14. You definitely had a an ex-boyfriend on campus and accept the fact that you had to see them everyday.

You will never get rid of them!

15. People think you went to a boarding school because you were a trouble maker at home.

Um, no. K bye.

16. You had a senior lounge.

No freshmen allowed. They shall stay or pass through the lounge at their own expense.

17. Despite the struggles, you met some of your life long best friends and they became your true squad.

You'll meet your true friends through being in a boarding school because they have been and seen you go through all of it, and vice versa! They will accept you and will not judge you for whatever decision you've made in your life!

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
