Ah, the struggles of being a picky eater. For all the fortunate souls whose taste-buds are every food's best friend, meals are easy-peasy. Unfortunately, some of us are not blessed with the "social butterfly" taste-buds and have to ask ourselves constantly, "will I actually like this?"
Here are five things all picky eaters can relate to:
1. Going out to eat is a chore in itself
First, choosing the restaurant takes an hour debate. Once you finally claim you "are fine" with whatever choice, the menu is presented. You ask for more time to look at all your options and then proceed to order the same thing.
*sighs heard from everyone at your table*
2. The annoying "21 Questions" game
You get asked on a regular basis, "But how do you know you don't like it if you have never tried it before?" Whether I tried it or not, it does not sound good to me and I'm not going to put it in my mouth.
3. You hate the "V" word
You just do not understand why someone would willingly put those vegetables into their mouths.
4. Taking a deep breath before you give your custom order to the waiter/waitress
"I will have the (insert item on the menu) with no (insert everything you hate) on it. Thank you"
5. World War III breaks out when asked to try a new food
