You have been best friends since you were kids and she has been there with through the good and bad. She has become a part of your family, and you a part of hers. You have an assigned seat at the dinner table and might as well have been adopted by the family.
- You walk in the front door without knocking. In fact, if you did ring the bell, everyone would feel uncomfortable because it is such a rarity.
- You call her parents by their first names. Or the occasional Mom or Dad because they are practically your second parents.
- Her Mom buys groceries based on what you like. You are over their house so often her mom buys snacks according to what you like.
- Her parents text you as if you were their other daughter. They are even saved in your phone as Mom 2 and Dad 2.
- Your dads team up and try to stop you from going on that double date. Your overprotective fathers sabotage your double date and laugh about it over a couple of beers.
- Her parents are up to date on all the latest gossip in your life. They know everything going on and give you parental advice as if it were coming from your own.
- You watch "The Bachelor" with her mom. You make fun of all the desperate women and dopey men who go on the show. But of course, you argue about who should win.
- You open her fridge without asking. If you’re hungry you just get up and fix yourself a snack. If you ask her to get it she’ll say, “You have legs. It’s not like you count as a guest."
- Her cat loves you. You love her cat and sometimes go over just to play with the cat. She knows the truth and pretends not to care.
- You fight like sisters. You argue and bicker like two old women. Your arguments never last long because you get bored and realized you have no one else to hang out with.
- You get caught sneaking out together. When your parents find out you are going to that party they drag both of you out of there. You both get reprimanded and punished on the drive home.
- You love them like your own. They have been there for you since you were young. You love them like they are your own family.
