The hit television show Friends first debuted in 1994 and was instantly a hit with teens and adults of the '90s. The show is still popular today and is usually seen under the "Trending Now" section on Netflix. If you're a fanatic of the show, I'm sure you can agree you've watched the show one too many times to be able to relate to this article. If you've never seen the show, these are just more reasons as to why you should watch it!
1. You live for Rachel's wardrobe.
Many people who watched the show when it first debuted and continued to watch it, or for someone like me who started to watch it two years ago, KNOW Jennifer Aniston's character changed the style game when it came to fashion.
2. You can clap on cue when the theme song plays.
"So no one told you life was gonna be this way..."
3. When watching, you were always waiting for the holiday episodes.
Chandler hated Thanksgiving due to his parents's divorce, Monica was always cooking for Turkey Day, Ross would always try to teach people about Hanukkah on Christmas, and Joey would always need someone to kiss when the ball drops on New Years.
4. You (somewhat) want a relationship like Ross and Rachel's.
The way everything unfolds with Rachel learning that Ross loves her from Chandler, greeting him at the airport with flowers in hand, going through the heartbreak of not having Ross, and reconnecting after he breaks it off with Julie. It's all a vicious cycle but you still crave the connection they had throughout the show.
5. When you come across a coffee shop, you're always hoping it is like Central Perk.
I'm always looking for a Gunther behind the counter.
6. Choosing a favorite character is the hardest decision you've ever had to make.
"Well I like Joey because he's very flirty... But Chandler is really funny! Then there's Rachel who can get any guy she likes, and Phoebe has a witty personality... I don't know! I like... no love... all of them!"
7. If you were to ever go into an audition, you would use Joey's "smell the fart" technique.
8. You dream of getting a roommate so you can have the same relationship as Monica and Rachel or Joey and Chandler.
9. You start to obtain certain qualities from each character... And they definitely impact your life in some way.
From personal experience, I was never as sarcastic as I am until I started watching this show (Chandler). My room is much more organized (Monica). I didn't try dressing harder until this past school year (Rachel).
10. You have an idea as to what Chandler's job is.
Although many people are still confused as to what Chandler exactly does for a living, anyone who has watched the series numerous times knows he works as an IT procurement manager with the specialization "Statistical analysis and data reconfiguration."
11. You can watch the show all day for a whole week, and not get tired of it.
Even though you may have seen each episode over ten times, the same six characters and the stories in the episodes still make you come back every time.
