With streaming services such as Netflix and Hulu being very popular alternatives for watching television, it's not hard to find an interesting new show to binge on. Before you know it, you're curled up in your bed with your laptop in hand and its 3 a.m. when you could have sworn you just had lunch a few hours ago. Binging, it consumes your life. For me, it is the A&E show, Bates Motel.
Binging is not the only thing that people need to worry about though. Once you get hooked on a show its hard to not get attached. I call it Television Show Attachment Disorder. Here are the signs and symptoms.
1. You convince and beg your friends to watch it.
2. You make excuses for "one more episode."
3. You become obsessed with one particular character.
4. You haven't left your room in 3... Whole... Days...
5. It is all you think about.
6. You argue with the characters when they make stupid decisions.
7. That one new character you hate with a passion..
8. When a character dies, you die.
9. Your friends think you're going mad.
10. You ship all the relationships.
11. You submerge into a deep depression when it's over.
Now if you have any of these symptoms, please consult your recommended list of shows you may like and try again. Results may vary.
