April 10, 2017, was National Siblings Day. This day is just as important to me as Mother’s and Father’s Day. My brothers and sisters give a beautiful meaning to my life, and being the youngest sister, majority of what I learn about life comes from them. I am blessed to have amazing siblings who think of me before themselves, and who always look after my future. Thanks to them, I am a wiser person and learned many important life aspects. Siblings are the most beautiful blessing from God and they are the best friends whom you will have for lifetime.

Siblings are the ones who give family a much more profound meaning. Your siblings will forever be in your life no matter what happens and will cheer for you in good and bad times. Having siblings means having a full life and feeling lonely does not exist. Having siblings means spending vast of quality time with your intermediate family. When you are happy, they are happier. when you are sad, they are there to make you laugh. When you succeed, they celebrate your success with you. Whether there is sunshine or storm in your life, your siblings never leave your side.

With siblings, life is delighted and simple. You can be anything you want around your siblings and if you need anything they are just one call away. You can be angry at them one second and go to them for help the next second. Siblings can’t hold any hard feelings against each other because God created us in a way where we know our siblings truly love us and anything they do, they do it because they care for us. Siblings forgive without having to apologize and nothing can discontinue this strong relationship. My siblings are my joy and without them, my life wouldn’t be this remarkable.

Although we may have so many close people in our lives, nothing can relate to siblings. They say, no one will be there for you besides your own self, but I say my siblings will always be there for me. My siblings and I have been there for one another ever since I can remember. We have been through everything together. With siblings, anything can be overcome. With siblings, you don’t have to explain yourself because they know you so well. Your siblings are the ones who understand you the most. It is as if they are in your mind, thinking for you. Siblings are truly connected; by blood, heart, and mind and nothing can shatter this joining.

Sibling’s Day is created because the bond between brothers and sisters is so distinguishing that it needs to be celebrated. Your siblings are the ones who lived with you throughout your childhood and who grew up with you. You shared everything with them and learned with them as you grew older. They know you the most and love you the most. The best thing about having siblings is that I can do and say anything I want to them because they will never leave me and I could never imagine my life without them in it. I love, respect, and cherish my brothers and sisters to death. I am beyond thankful for having them and for all that they do for me. Life with siblings is complete because they are the truest people you will ever have.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
