8 Movies To Look Out For This Summer With Awesome Trailers

I am a huge fan of movie previews. I hate being late to the movies because seeing the previews is one of my favorite parts. I'm the same way when I am looking for a movie to watch, I spend more time watching trailers of movie options than I do watching an actual movie. So start getting excited because some good flicks are on their way.

Me Before You

Not going to lie I teared up a little bit just from watching the trailer, I can't imagine how I am going to be when the movie actually comes out. Emilia Clarke is seriously perfect and it'll be interesting seeing her in a completely different role than badass Daenerys Targaryen.

Finding Dory

Before I even saw the trailer I knew I wanted to see this movie. Everyone who saw and loved "Finding Nemo" has to go see this, its mandatory. Dory was so clearly the best character in the movie, she deserves this movie.

Legend of Tarzan

Turning animated movies into real human movies seems to be a thing lately. I still haven't seen the new "Jungle Book," but "Tarzan" is another good one to follow the trend. Could they have picked a better pair to play Tarzan and Jane? I don't think so.

The Conjuring 2

Going to be completely honest, I didn't even finish this trailer. I'm writing this at night and already know I am going to have nightmares when I go to sleep just from watching ten seconds, and nothing even happened. I love/hate scary movies so I know I will end up seeing this especially because the first one made me pretty much pee my pants.

Now You See Me 2

Dave Franco again? I'm in. I really enjoyed the first one so if you haven't seen it yet, I highly recommend it. Usually, sequels are successful or huge flops, but I think this one will be on the successful side. Plus, Harry Potter moves on from being a wizard to a magician so I have to see it.

Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates

I could see this being one of those movies that had a funny trailer, but the actual movie sucks since you already saw the only good scenes in the previews. I'm going to still give it a chance though because it reminds me of a combination of Step Brothers and Wedding Crashers.

Sausage Party

When I first came across this trailer I thought it was going to be one of those secretly inappropriate children's movies that parents will enjoy. Well, I was wrong. Children cannot be anywhere near this movie. It's obviously really stupid humor, but with this cast, I don't think you can go wrong and sometimes stupid humor is the funniest kind.

Suicide Squad

I think this is by far the one I'm the most excited for. Everything about this looks amazing and my girl crush Cara Delevingne is in it. This is going to be a hit at the box office you can already tell, even if Jared Leto as the Joker is something straight out of my nightmares.

Start saving your dollar bills for tickets, popcorn, and slushies. These coming months are going to be packed with good movies. There are always those times when there is absolutely nothing to go see at the movie theaters, but we won't be experiencing that this summer.

Today I started my third week of college at Minnesota State Moorhead. I have survived welcome week, finding my classes on the first day, and being an awkward loner in the dining hall. Even though I have yet to be here for a month, I have already experienced many thoughts and problems that only a new college student can relate to.

"Make sure to get involved when you're in college!"

We've all heard some variation of this phrase, whether it came from parents, other family members, friends, RAs, or college-related articles. And, like many clichés, it's true for the most part. Getting involved during your college years can help you make friends, build your resume, and feel connected to your campus. However, these commitments can get stressful if you're dealing with personal issues, need to work, or aren't sure how to balance classes and everything else going on during the semester.

In college, one of the essential things to have is friends. Yes, textbooks, a laptop, and other school supplies are important but friends are essential. Friends are that support system everybody needs. The more friends you have the better the support system you have. But you also have someone to share experiences with. And don’t settle for just one or two friends because 8 out of 10 times they are busy and you are studying all alone. Or they have other friend groups that do not include you. Don’t settle for just one or two friends; make as many friends as you can. After the first couple of weeks of college, most friend groups are set and you may be without friends.

Finals week is upon us. It is a magical time of year during which college students everywhere flock to the library in attempt to learn a semester's worth of knowledge in only a week. For some students, it's their first time in the library all semester, maybe ever. Others have slaved away many nights under the fluorescent lights, and are slightly annoyed to find their study space being invaded by amateurs. While these newbies wander aimlessly around the first floor, hopelessly trying to find a table, the OGs of the library are already on the third floor long tables deep into their studies.
