Okay everybody, lets gather around and hear what Miss. Sabrina has to say. It is time that we stop flying the Confederate flag. It is 2016. Do you not think that we as a country have evolved past the times of slavery. “But Sabrina you know its to show Southern Pride not racism.” Pipe down Billy Bob.

First of all, it's racist. Period. Second of all, if the only way you can think of to display Southern pride is through something that so blatantly ties its self to a very dark time in our country, you aren’t really very Southern. Luckily for you, Billy Bob, I like to think of myself as a Southern Belle and I have never owned anything with a confederate flag. So here are things you can do to show your pride of the South without the Confederate flag.

1. Make some sweet tea

There is no better way to signal that you are from the South than drinking some of mama's rot-your-teeth sweet tea.

2. Buy a T-shirt with a sassy Southern phrase

These are awesome. My personal favorite is "Born American but Southern by the Grace of God"

3. Go to a football game.

We don't have Longhorns for you to just stay at home.

4. Go to Dairy Queen

I know there are Diary Queens in other Yankee states but it always feels very southern.

5. Drink some peanuts and coke

I do not really know where this came from but its good.

6. Blast some George Strait

He is our king,

7. Go to the lake

and this is our palace.

8. Buy some cowboy boots

They come in all shapes, sizes and colors... just like people from the South.

9. Be a good neighbor

Southern charm is no joke. Prove it by showing it off to everyone you come in contact with.

It can all boil down to the traits of a true Southerner someone who is polite, kind and respectful. At least that is how I was raised. In no way am I anti-South, I am extremely proud of where I was raised. Though, I AM embarrassed by the people who think that it is okay to continue to block change by continuously tying the South to its dark past. At the end of the day there are many other ways to show your pride besides the Confederate flag.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
