Shoutout To My Forever Friend

"She's my person, if I murdered someone, she's the person I'd call to help me drag the corpse across the living room floor" -Grey's Anatomy

I'm sure at some point during the years you heard people say that the people that you will meet at college will be your forever people. Although there were a few friendships that faded over the time that I've been here in college, I know for a fact that I have finally met my person. You know your person once you meet them so believe me... you'll know. So here are just a few things that made me realize that she will be my forever friend no matter what.

1. We get each other.

When we're together we tend to just vent about everything and anything. And the best part about it is we get each other and we can most definitely read each other as well.

2. We finish each other's sentences.

It's pretty self-explanatory, we finish each other's sentences when we tend to forget or we're having trouble thinking of that specific word that's at the tip of your tongue.

3. We don't have to text every day to know we care.

Life happens, and we understand. So there could be a time where we won't be able to talk to each other for days... and that's okay because we just go right back to where we left off.

4. You obsess over Grey's Anatomy quotes together.

"At the end of the day when it all comes down to it, all we really want is to be close to somebody. So this thing where we all keep our distance and pretend not to care about each other, it's usually a load of bull. So we pick and choose who we want to remain close to, and once we've chosen those people we tend to stick close by. No matter how much we hurt them, the people that are still with you at the end of the day, those are the ones worth keeping. And sure, sometimes close can be too close. But sometimes, that invasion of personal space , it can be exactly what you need." - Merideth Grey

5. We support each other no matter what.

Life will give us so many challenges and obstacles at one point to the point where it's overwhelming. But hey that's what we have each other for, to support one another for what's best for one another.

Meeting your forever friend is something very rare and once you have them in your life don't ever let them go.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
