Should You Watch Stranger Things?

The new Netflix original series Stranger Things was just released. You hear many of your friends talking about it and wonder, "Is this show really for me?"

After seeing the initial trailer for the show I was intrigued and legitimately excited, but after a few more trailers I was starting to get confused about its general theme. "Was that an alien or a monster?" "Wait, is this supposed to be horror?" All these questions rushed to me, but I finally decided to watch the show.

The series brings you back to the 80's, and really brings you back. The goofy haircuts and clothing are only a start, the setting and acting from the cast really make you feel like you're in the 1980's. The show ties together E.T. and Super 8 into one series. Even the writing, by the Duffer Brothers, is amazing, tying together multiple different scenarios into one.

After watching all of season one in two days, I would definitely recommend it to anyone, regardless of their tastes in shows.
