Potatoes are such a wonderful food, aren't they? If you think about it they are so versatile and important yet they never get the recognition they deserve. These are 12 reasons to love potatoes.

1. French fries!


2. Hash browns!


3. Home fries!


4. Potato chips!

5. Mashed potatoes!



6. Baked potatoes!



7. Tater tots!


8. They can be used to send a message! Don't know what I'm talking about? Go here!

9. They're pretty darn cheap!


10. Mr. & Mrs. Potato Head!



11. Use them for self defense! Someone breaking into your house? Throw a potato at them! Someone cut you off in traffic? Good thing you've got your potatoes with you!



12. They're individually unique yet in the end, still delicious and wonderful -- just like people!



Potatoes are actually a really filling meal and can be cooked in so many different ways and have an assortment of uses. They're totally amazing and need more appreciation from the public.
