Corona Extra!!! The causal summer beer and arguably the best beer there is. It's almost summer and honestly what could be better?
I was never really the beer type of drinker until a few months ago when I consistently only drank Corona after finally giving up on my "girly" drinks, mangorittas. That being said, I never thought that I would ever be the type to want to drink beer casually, especially because the only beer I ever had access to or tried was Coors Light. No offense dad, but Coors Light tastes like water. It wasn't until I started to drink Corona on the regular that I understood why people love beer so much.
Here are the five reasons why Corona is the best beer:
1. One word: lime.
Nothing tastes better than dropping a lime in corona and sippin' on a tangy taste of fresh lime. The best part is when the lime is fresh out of the fridge and adds that extra chill to the beer.
2. It tastes so good.
This is definitely a biased opinion. But, whether or not you like beer, corona by far is the most refreshing and crisp tasting beer, especially on a hot summer day. There's no way someone can say "I really just don't like corona." That's like saying you don't like babies, or puppies. Who are you?
3. The bottle.
The bottle is so unique and pristine. Everything about the bottle makes you want to enjoy every sip. It can be purchased from a can, but it is definitely not the same. The bottle isn't twist off either, so you feel super important as if you really truly matter in this world because you in fact, had to use a bottle opener.
4. It's imported.
Corona Extra is beer from Mexico, and if you've ever been to Mexico, it's a regular type of beer there and when you drink it in a bar in upstate New York, you can pretend you're somewhere warm. The best part is that
5. It's one of the most successful beer brands.
It's sold in over 150 countries. The brand boasts being the top imported beer in the United States and the fifth ranked on popularity in comparison to every other brand.
Not to mention, Corona's slogan is "Find Your Beach." Obviously everyone in the world loves going to the beach and who else wouldn't want to drink Corona while out in the sun sitting by the water.
Here's a video to one of their quick commercials:
Can I get hired to work for Corona too?
And lastly, here's a photo that I took on a beach in Mexico with a Corona in hand. A little Mexican man came up to me with a cooler full of Coronas, Pacificos and limes. The beer costed me two US dollars.
I found my beach. Can you find yours?
