If you are anything like me, you buy what you want as the year goes on and are stumped when asked what you would like for yourself for the holidays. I'm honestly half tempted to tell people to put money towards my car payment sometimes! For everyone like me, here are some ideas of what to ask for (and what to give)! I'll keep the list short & sweet.
1. Blanket(s)
I personally love blankets. I can never have enough. This year, I threw a mermaid tail blanket on my wishlist... only about $30 on Amazon! They came in a ton of colors, so I picked the one that matches my current bed set.
2. Hair Styling Tools
I have stick-straight hair, and ask for some sort of hair tool each year. This year, I listed a 3 barrel jumbo waver! Last year, I got a curling wand.
3. Something Hobby-Related
I play the ukulele in my spare time, and bought the instrument for myself this year. However, it doesn't come with a case, so I've kept it in the box... Case for the uke requested!
4. Book(s)
I like to read as a hobby, so there are some books on the list I've been wanting but didn't buy yet.You cCan also request college textbooks if needed!
5. Gift Card(s)
To a store of your choice. I don't find these tacky, they're incredibly useful. In the past, I've been given gift cards to Dunkin, AE, and other stores I shop at regularly!
6. Alcohol
Sometimes I want to get wine drunk and don't want to drive to the store to pick something up. It's always a great feeling to have surprise wine because someone was thinking of you!
You don't have to try super hard to be thoughtful, neither does anyone else! Ultimately, if you get a gift and you think the person will enjoy it, then it is the thought that counts.
