My mom always taught me: shop with a purpose. When I was little, going to the store meant that we were getting something specific. We went to spend only the amount that we had to and nothing more. As we grow older and become more individualized, we tend to take a little bit longer in the store. It takes us a little more time to fulfill that purpose.

In today's society, we live in a highly globalized world. Everything is literally at our fingertips. Our smart phones and computers allow for us to type in a few key words and find exactly what we are looking for. This is when I realized that shopping with a purpose still has value in our lives. Recently, the weather has been changing. So, naturally it is a prime time to update my closet.

I was searching around online and looking at all of these websites, where you pay money and get what you need. But, then I realized how much advantage I take of what I have. I did some quick researching with the masterful tool of Google, and found what I realized "shopping with a purpose" really meant.

I found SO many websites of clothing companies that donate money or goods to people in need! Here are 10 of the websites that I found that helped me find what I wanted, and helped others get what they needed!

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.
