The rapper Remy Ma just released a 7 minute diss track targeting Nicki Minaj. The track was actually a response to Nicki Minaj's verse to her new release "Make Love," which was released two days ago. The song contains subliminal insults towards Remy Ma. One line from Nicki Minaj's verse was "I'm the iPhone, you the Nokia. Everybody know you jealous, bitch it's so clear." By calling Remy a Nokia and comparing herself to an iPhone she is mocking Remy's age. I find this weird because they are only two years apart. Remy Ma is 36 and Nicki Minaj is 34. In that same song, Nicki says "You gotta sell records, you gotta get plaques. S, plural like the S on my chest." This line refers to fact that Remy Ma has to platinum plaques or records but Nicki does.

What leads Nicki to this point was the speculation that Remy has been targeting rap lines towards her I when in the song "Money Showers" she says "Claiming you do the queen. What? Nah hardly. Who the F*** gave you your crown, B****, Steve Harvey?" Since they both call themselves the queen of rap who represents New York, people read this line as a direct shot but in this new track Remy Ma clears up the speculation.

It turns out that Remy Ma was not going after Nicki Minaj at all until this very moment. In her new song, Shether, Remy says "I told you I wasn't talkin' about your dumb ass." In another line, Remy says "How you take my '09 jail tweet and run? Talking 'bout bringing knives to a fight with guns When the only shot you ever took was in your buns." This line is targeting Nicki Minaj's past with plastic surgery. Nicki Minaj's breasts and buttocks were altered with surgical enhancements years ago and every since then she has been receiving backlash. Remy Ma also talks about the men Nicki denied sleeping with. Later in the song, she calls Nicki Minaj a "disloyal hoochie."

The song is going viral right now on youtube for the following reasons: it was seven minutes of pure insults, it contained information about Nicki Minaj that was not public, it was made and released two days after Nicki Minaj's diss track.

Along with the song you can see people posting reactions to the hot single as well. Nicki responded today on Instagram to Remy Ma's Diss track with a caption that reportedly stated that Remy Ma's single "All the Way Up" did not make many sales. This little response is not enough for the fans of both artists. They are waiting for diss song to come out from Nicki furthering the new conflict between the artists. This is not the first time Nicki Minaj has angered a rap legion. A couple years ago Lil Kim released a diss track to Nicki Minaj called "Black Friday." It was a response to Nicki Minaj's "Pink Friday." Both diss tracks can be found on youtube currently. I cant say which one is the best track because they are both really good. Check them out on youtube (Shether by Remy Ma and Black Friday by Lil Kim).

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
