Sterling Shepherd gets hurt on Metlife Stadium turf

This is a response to the original post: NFL Players Promote Change For Natural Grass Fields (theodysseyonline.com)

Giants fans are livid. Cowboys fans are ecstatic. The big game ended up in favor of the Dallas, which easily seemed to have a more talented team and better plays set up for this division rivalry.

The ugly part was seeing Shepherd injured. There was no one near him when it happened. Now, his career might be over and his Giants career might be over for sure. Shepherd came back from a brutal Achilles injury - and we don't know if we are going to ever see him again this season.. its really bad because it was on the last play of the game. The mysterious nature of the injury brought up the question of natural grass vs. artificial turfs again.

OBJ opened it up on Twitter

We know that its lets expensive to have a turf field. But you have 2 teams here combined of billions dollars - its high time for the NY Giants and NY Jets to get this the attention it deserves.

As people ages 18-22, we’re just trying to figure out what we’re doing with our lives, our careers, our eating habits, exercise routines, sleep patterns, and other necessities for adult life. We definitely don’t take proper care of ourselves; it’s basically impossible when we have essays, tests and readings due and somehow we’re supposed to eat right, exercise and sleep. We’re doomed to get sick. I have zero experience in science but when I get sick there are certain things I do to make myself better.

Rule 1. Having feeling without feeling.
