I am an avid fan of ABC’s Shark Tank, a show where inventors and entrepreneurs pitch their business ideas to a board of investors with very strong personalities. For years I’ve been watching the tears, drama, joy, and pure capitalism of the show with the mindset of both a passive audience member and an occasional buyer. I’ve wanted to try each and every item presented, of course, but when it comes down to it I’ve only gotten to try a select few (because this stuff adds up!). Although some of the items are silly, a few are pure genius—and I’m here to tell you which ones are worth your while as a college student with limited funds and not much room to live in.
The list of useful items is undoubtedly much greater than this, but here are the ones I’ve personally tried and think could work great in a dorm:
1. Scrub Daddy
I have a confession: I love cleaning, and I love this product. When you need to wash out your water bottle or other dishes, this product will change texture depending on the water temperature so you can get a better clean. Plus, it’s cute!

2. Simple Sugars
Simple Sugars is a line of skincare products that help exfoliate your skin and make it look and smell great. I own quite a few of these, because they’re relatively cheap and make you feel like you’re receiving a spa treatment. Your skin will thank you if it needs a good scrubbing.

3. Bottle Bright
In case you don’t want to use your Scrub Daddy to clean your water bottles, pop one of these packs in and let it do it’s thing with minimal effort on your part.

4. SWAG Bar Soaps
Although this product is for men, females are welcome to try it as well. It is basically a loofah in a bar of soap, but it helps get rid of razor bumps and ingrown hairs when shaving. Just be cautioned, it might be a little too rough for facial use.

5. Pipcorn Mini Popcorn
I LOVE this stuff. Not only does it taste delicious, but it’s super fun to eat. I basically will eat the whole bag if you hand this stuff to me.

6. Red Dress Boutique
This one is mostly for the girls, and some of the items can be a little on the pricier side. As a college student without a lot of extra money, you probably won’t be buying everything on this site. Despite that, online shopping is definitely easier than going to a real store when you’re on campus, and if you need outfit inspiration or want to splurge and treat yourself, check out this website.
