Why Sephora Will Be The Death of Me

Sephora is one of those silent killers. Here's 5 reasons why Sephora will be the death of me:

1. IMPULSE BUY, IMPULSE BUY, IMPULSE BUY!!

Whenever I'm in Sephora or on their mobile app, I feel compelled to buy something. Both the store and the app are just so classy looking and eye-catching. I'm one of those makeup junkies that just can't help themselves. Every brand just yells, "buy me, buy me!" and I can't control myself. I end up with a fabulous collection of makeup but a very sad bank account.

2. Buying More Things = More Reward Points

Those who have shopped at Sephora know that they have a "reward point" system. Whenever you make a purchase, you earn reward points. These points can go towards different products that you can essentially get for free. This of course just makes me want to buy more in order to get my free product.

3. The Brands

Anastasia Beverly Hills, Becca Cosmetics, Marc Jacobs, Too Faced Cosmetics, Kat Von D, Urban Decay, Makeup Forever... the list really does go on. Every brand Sephora sells has it's good products (and bad products, of course). But the options are endless. Even if you can't get to the store, every brand is available on the mobile app. On the other-hand...

4. The Price

The prices are sometimes outrageous. However, you are usually getting what you pay for. It's very rare that you don't. Although your bank account may hate you, your face will love you.

5. Looks That can Kill

You don't need makeup to be beautiful. HOWEVER, makeup can be a fun experiment. Makeup can make you feel beautiful and make your whole day better. You'll look in that mirror and realize that almost dying in Sephora is 100% worth it.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

The Importance Of Being A Good Person

An open letter to the good-hearted people.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
