To Daniel, Yonathan, Brayden, and Connor

Senior Letters: Part 2
Gabrielle Scott

Dear Daniel,

Our friendship is strange, but I wouldn't change it for the world. Without a doubt, you have shown me so many ways to be a great friend. Thank you for teaching me when to be goofy and funny and when to take situations seriously. You never fail to make me super proud to be your friend, especially when you get a 5 on the AP Music Theory exam.

Dear Yonathan,

Holy cow do I appreciate you. Thanks for hugging me every day and telling me the most random stories about your life. Also, I appreciate the random musical references and hearing about how much you miss doing all of our previous shows. I can honestly say that you have played a significant part in teaching me to accept who I am with no apologies, so thank you for that.

Dear Brayden,

First of all, I appreciate not only you, but your family because all of you are so amazing and kind. I love that your heart is so pure. It makes you such a nice and caring person which are qualities that everyone should copy from you. I also feel like it's important to mention that I will miss all of the random car-related incidents you get into, including the time we were almost hit because a car decided to leave South's parking lot the wrong way. I can't wait to be able to see you again after your graduate and go down to Florida (here's hoping I get into UCF).

Dear Connor,

I'm going to miss you. That's super weird to say, believe me, but I will miss you. Thank you for teaching me so much over the past few years. I can't tell you how many times knowing that you slightly trusted me with projections put me at ease. You have this habit of believing in certain people's abilities and trusting them to help with or handle the situation, which is probably the most "dad" quality about you, but I have yet to see anyone complain. You taught me how to operate projections for one of the best shows that South has ever put on, and, I've never told you this, that show was one of the major points in my high school career where I actually felt like I was a part of something, all thanks to Liv and you. Have fun at OSU, you deserve everything you've worked for.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
