The "Self-Help" book trend has taken off and we are HERE for it. Self-Help can be anything from personal growth to relationships...really anything is written about being mentally healthy. While you are relaxing this spring break, pick up one of these and refresh your mind before heading back to school.

1. Girl, Wash Your Face

Rachel Hollis tags the title "Girl, Wash Your Face: Stop Believing Lies About Who You Are so You Can Become Who You Were Meant To Be." In each chapter, she discusses a lie she has believed and her journey to get over them. Rachel tackles tough topics like "I Should Be Further Along By Now" and "I Will Never Get Past This."

Using her messy life as a test case, she teaches you how to how to live a more productive and enjoyable life.

2. The Universe Has Your Back

Gabrielle Bernstein's beautiful writing describes how to turn your "fear into faith." Her book focuses on the energy we put into the universe and how it reacts to us. Life is going to change and everything is going to happen for a reason. She has secrets to reveal and hopes to unleash your power to present to the universe.

3. You Are A Badass

"How To Stop Doubting Your Greatness and Start Living an Awesome Life" Sound pretty amazing, right? Jen Sincero is a successful author, life coach and motivational speaker. If you're looking for a different perspective on how to develop a more positive outlook on life, this is the book for you. She digs deep into our unconscious thoughts and beliefs and how to guide yourself into the life yourself.

4. You Are A Badass At Making Money

Jen Sincero writes a spin-off of her first novel by putting an important financial twist on it. You Are A Badass At Making Money discusses how to get out of negative relationships with money and how healthy financial mindsets lead to a more stress-free future.

5. Why Men Love B*tches

Last, but certainly not least, Sherry Argov wrote the bible of relationships for single (and taken) women. This is a woman's guide to how to hold her own in a relationship.

Very insightful with a lot of humor, the novel answers questions like, "Why do men take nice girls for granted? Why does a man respect women for standing up for herself? Why is he only interested in the beginning?"

This book not only provides analysis of a man's part in the relationship but it also talks about what it means to be a strong, independent, respectful woman in each relationship. A must read!

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
