We all see those “Secret Starbucks Menu” posts but never hear of anyone actually trying them. I decided to drop my usual order for an entire week and pick 5 new ones to try.

1. The Pink Drink

I’ve seen so many Pink Drink Instagram posts and wanted to fit in. Finally, I can say I’ve tried this trending drink. It’s definitely as good and pretty as it looks!

How to order it:

Order a Strawberry Acaí Refresher. Replace the water with coconut milk and add frozen dried strawberries.

2. Cold Butterbeer Frappuccino

I had to try this one because I love Harry Potter. This drink tastes almost like buttered rum. I think this may become my regular order from now on!

How to order it:

Order a Crème Frappuccino with whole milk. Add three pumps of caramel and toffee nut syrup. Top it with caramel drizzle.

3. Raspberry Cheesecake Mocha

If you like cheesecake then you'll love this drink. I could really taste the raspberry syrup in it, too. It was a really good blend.

How to order it:

Get a White Chocolate Mocha and add two to three pumps of raspberry syrup. You can get this hot, iced, or as a frappuccino.

4. Captain Crunch Berry Frappuccino

This frappuccino tastes exactly like captain crunch cereal! It was very sweet and the java chips definitely made the drink better.

How to order it:

Order a strawberries and crème frappuccino. Add one pump of caramel syrup, one pump of hazelnut syrup, one pump of toffee syrup, and java chips.

5. Caramel Snickerdoodle Macchiato

The Caramel Snickerdoodle Macchiato was really good, but tastes like any other caramel macchiato. I didn't taste any of the cinnamon dolce syrup which was disappointing.

How to order it:

Ask for an Iced Soy Caramel Macchiato, upside down. Add one pump of vanilla syrup and one pump of cinnamon dolce syrup.

A week of trying different drinks was a lot of fun and I think I will start doing it more often. I would encourage anyone to order something off the secret menu instead of their usual orders.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
