In This Article:

Throughout our journeys, we will enter many different seasons of purpose, transformation, and growth. These seasons come and go, and they always come when they're supposed to. They are not meant to hurt you or defeat you, but wake you up just a bit.

There are many different signs that point towards these seasons of growth, all of which are intended to help you - wait for it - grow. Do not resist. Do not question.

Instead, be on the lookout for these 10 signs:

1. You weren't necessarily prepared.

The season may have crept up on you, but you soon realized it was there.

2.  You turn toward a new MUSE.

Whether its working out, God, writing, or singing, you've begun to find something that makes you feel like everything is going to be okay.

3. You become connected to the universe and its signs.

You're noticing signs and signals you haven't before.

4. You become in touch with your emotions.

And you know how to control them.

5. You had to make tough choices.

But it's going to work out.

6. Responsibilities are piling up.

It may be overwhelming, but you can get through it.

7. You are able to reflect.

You are able to see pinpoint what you need to work on.

8. You sway back and forth from uneasiness to confidence.

That's normal, as you are growing. It can be scary.

9. You prepare for the lessons ahead.

And you're excited to see what's in store.

10. You tell yourself it's going to be OK.

Because it will be.

Embrace this opportunity to grow for not only yourself, but those around you.

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
