Scream Season Two Finale Shockers

If you're like me then you have been keeping up with MTV'S Scream since day one. This show just has so many plot turns and you never know who to trust because anyone could be the killer. If you have not watched the show and plan to, you should probably not read any further because there will most definitely be many spoilers. If you're still with me I am going to discuss Scream's season two finale which was kind of shocking.

One of the characters in the photo above is the killer. Can you guess who it is if you haven't already watched it? I know I had my suspicions throughout the series and I pretty much accused everyone. Season two was all about finding out who Piper's accomplice was and there were a lot of suspects to chose from.

The finale begins with Emma and Audrey in the back of the police car on their way to jail for murder. The killer causes the police car to run into a pole and the girls escape. The killer could have killed the girls at any time during the escape, but decides to play games with them instead. The police officer is stabbed by the unknown killer and the killer leaves the handcuff keys with the girls. Emma and Audrey take advantage of the situation and even take the officers gun with them for protection.

While Emma and Audrey are on the run trying to catch the killer and prove their innocence, their teacher Ms. Lang is trying to convince the Sheriff that the two girls are guilty because of the trauma they suffered from season one.

The girls end up at a convenience store where the cashier's phone begins to ring. Guess who it is? The killer of course that wants to speak to Emma and Audrey. The killer warns them to not get caught or he will kill someone they care about.

Emma and Audrey take refuge at the movie theater Audrey works at to figure out a plan. Before they arrive at the theater Emma decides to visit Kieran before heading out to tell him where they are going. However, as Emma and Kieran are having a moment, Kieran's cousin Eli barges in and Emma takes off in a hurry. You can see the tension between Kieran and Eli. Kieran believes Eli might be framing the girls.

Literally everyone except the Sheriff is suspecting the killer to be Eli. The Sheriff believes the killer to be Audrey because she had previously accused him of being the killer before.

Brooke makes a trip to the hospital to see Noah. While chatting with Brooke, Noah gets a call from Emma and Audrey. The girls notify Brooke and Noah where they are and they leave the hospital to lend a hand.

Noah and Brooke arrive at the theater and Emma comes up with a plan. Emma is going to wait for a call from the killer and lure him there so they can catch him. The gang arms up to take down the killer with props from the theater.

Noah and Brooke wait for the killer at the entrance. Gustavo, Brooke's love interest, shows up unexpectedly claiming that Brooke sent him a text asking him to meet her there. Brooke denies sending the text but Gustavo shows the proof. Noah convinces Brooke to not trust Gustavo and they do not let him in, in fear that he may be the killer.

After Gustavo leaves Brooke and Noah hear a loud scream inside the auditorium. When they arrive in the movie room a reel of all the killings are playing from the projection room. Emma leaves to shut the projector off and everyone is horrified to watch their friends get killed all over again. Audrey turns up missing so Kieran leaves to search for her. After Emma shuts the projector off the whole theater turns black. This gives the killer a chance to show up and stab Brooke.

Emma uses the gun she took earlier to shoot the killer but narrowly misses. Emma and Audrey would like to stay and be by Brooke's side but they must leave before the police arrive.

Emma checks up on Brooke by getting updates from Kieran. It is not looking good for Brooke at this point. Gustavo is in the waiting room breaking down when his father, the Sheriff walks over to console him.

Noah still believes Eli is the killer and takes the time in the hospital to share his theories with the Sheriff. It is unknown at this time if the Sheriff is willing to let Emma and Audrey off the hook with all of the evidence piling up against them.

Emma gets a text from the killer saying "time to face the mask". Emma finds out the killer has Audrey and will kill her if she does not show up to meet him alone. Emma tells Kieran she is going to meet the killer but will not tell him where.

Emma arrives at the Blessed Sisters School with a gun. Once inside the killer calls. He tells Emma that he has been waiting for this moment a long time and that he is savoring the final destruction. He wanted the final showdown to be in the same place where Piper grew up and became the woman she was.

The killer tells Emma "you will never feel safe again".

The killer jumps out and slices Emma's arm. Emma looks over and finds Audrey tied to a chair but is not responding. While Emma tries to wake Audrey Kieran comes running in. He explains that Noah tapped the phone so he could find and help her. Just then his cousin Eli comes in. Eli is clearly bleeding and tells Emma that Kieran attacked him. Eli says that he had been suspicious of Kieran and followed him to the school. Before arriving, Eli claims he called the police to tell them that the killer is Kieran.

Who do you believe? Kieran or Eli? Emma doesn't know who to believe and listens to Eli's story. Eli claims that Kieran got a restraining order against him and Eli wanted to come to town to get revenge on his cousin.

Kieran defends himself by saying that Eli is obsessed and that he is the killer. Eli begins to attack Kieran for his allegations and Emma shoots him.

This is the moment when Emma believes that everything is going to be alright and that this nightmare is all over. Audrey begins to wake up and Emma goes to her. Kieran says to Emma "you will feel safe again". Isn't that similar to what the killer said earlier? That is the moment that Emma knows that Kieran is the killer.

Emma is devastated. "Tell me that I'm wrong"

Kieran has been the killer all along. Ever since season one. Just then Eli jumps up and attempts to attack Kieran but Kieran shoots him multiple times verifying that Eli is dead.

Kieran points the gun at Audrey and explains everything to Emma. Kieran and Piper were romantically involved before he even met Emma. They both hated Kieran's dad, the late Sheriff and Emma's mom being together. Kieran was upset that his dad abandoned him and Piper could never forgive Emma's mother for giving her up. They both decided to get revenge. Kieran reveals that the killing spree was going to end by killing his father, Emma, and her mother. He was upset when they did not get to finish their plan when Audrey shot and killed Piper.

Kieran taunted Audrey all that time because she had killed Piper. He wanted to frame Emma and Audrey for the murders and make it look like he was going to be the last victim. Kieran wanted to appear as being a hero.

Audrey distracts Kieran giving Emma a chance to escape. Emma is hiding waiting to strike but will not leave Audrey. Emma manages to get Kieran's gun out of his hands.

Now that the tables have turned and Emma has the floor. Emma taunts Kieran while Audrey restrains him with the chains around her wrists.

Emma tells Kieran she is not going to kill him. She wants him to rot in prison because he lost.

The Sheriff arrives and takes Kieran away.

The show jumps three months later. Noah is narrating his podcast, Brooke has recovered and is spending time with Gustavo who only draws happy things now.

Do you think the killings have come to end? At the very end of the episode, Emma's mother goes to a tree and sees a note she left for Brandon James telling him to stay away from Emma. The note is stained in blood and is stabbed into the tree with a knife.

While in prison, Kieran gets a call from someone that claims to be his lawyer. The caller says "Hello Kieran, who told you you could wear my mask?"

Is the caller Brandon James? Will there be a season three? We will just have to wait and find out.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
