Eight Creative Ways To Scare Your Friends

It's October, which means it is Halloween season! (Basically all month.) That means it is the season of spooks. Having a vivid imagination makes it fun to think of all kinds of creepy stuff to plague your friend's minds with. Here are a few things I have thought up to help you scare the living daylights out of your buddies. Because you love them, right? And what better way to show it than making them wet their pants? Here are 8 creative ways to scare your friends:

1. Tell them the fence you are walking or running next to is going to stretch open and engulf them like a huge monster and transport them to an evil universe of doom and torture.

2. Tell them the water they are showering in is actually the tears of tortured souls trapped in the shower head. If they take a shower for too long, their soul would be sucked up out of them by the shower head and be added to the shower soul collection.

3. You could also make it so the water coming out of their shower is red like blood or black like Satan's blood. That ought to give them a real big frighten.

4. Tell them their dog or cat is actually a demon sent from hell and it's time to join them on the dark side.

5. Hide spooky things in their house and car. Perhaps a possessed doll right outside their bedroom window.

6. Hide every time they leave the room, and when they come back, jump out at them when they least expect it. This is something I feel like everyone has done at some point in their life.

7. Act like you have forgotten who they are. That will get them for sure.

8. You can always do something classic too, such as wake them up from their slumber while wearing a horrifying mask or by banging pots and pans over their heads.

Stay spooky, but stay safe too. You don't want to literally scare your friends to death.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
