God Can’t Save You If You You Keep Putting Him Second

Put the big man first so your relationship turns out better than what it was.

God Can’t Save You If You You Keep Putting Him Second

After having so many relationships that turned bad it finally hit me where it hurt. That right there opened my eyes to new beginnings. I never put God first in the relationship and that’s the first thing you should do. I never really thought about how much God works, and after traveling and spending time alone I realize I can keep God while having a healthy relationship.

God should never be put second, but always first. If you put God first then he will always have your back through the toughest waters, and that right there is what I definitely want. You can go half in although you should be completely committed to it. God knows you from the inside-out, from head to toes, knows you, and don’t question him either cause that won’t help.

Never assume the worst of Gods plan; he does amazing things and can surprise you in so many ways. Making him first priority would be the best things for all the people out there reading this right now. People need to stop and focus on the real provider and lover in the relationship and you know who that is. Don’t look back and think what if because that won’t get you anywhere.

I made God my number one when I accepted him into my life. I shouldn’t ever push him to the side and say "no your not my number one," and then go and date someone. That will end that relationship so fast. Put God first and you will have a promised future and happy smiles.

God loves my imperfections, he loves me for me, and I don’t have to hide anything from him because he doesn’t judge you at all. He is my forever number one. I’m loved by the one and only God almighty because I chose him first and I’m not ashamed one bit. He shines on me whenever a bad relationship comes and he makes me feel better. He never disappoints and he is true to his words and his promises that I’m forever thankful.

I would like to say that I never want to make God second after everything he has saved me from during the bad times in my life. Where I felt like nothing and felt so ugly that I couldn’t take it anymore. Where I wanted to take the pain all away and do you know who saved me from all that? My number one and that is God.

Proven facts: You just can’t push him away. He knows what is healthy for you physically and mentally. He can can take your tears and turn them into smiles, and that’s what God is made for. He is to be your center and your whole world so he can grant you someone that is going to be amazing for you that you will not be able to stay away from. And to love God the same or even maybe more and that’s why God is my number one for that so reason.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
