These 4 Dogs Explain Your Typical College Weekend

A weekend told K9 style.

These 4 Dogs Explain Your Typical College Weekend

It’s finally Saturday! No more classes and it’s time to relax. Aren’t you excited?

Your friends want to go out tonight, but all you want to do is watch Netflix. BORING!

They tell you that you’ll never know when or where you can meet new friends! Stop being an introvert! This weekend may be the one!

After some convincing and nagging by the squad, you finally decide to go out! Great choice! You get dressed… even if you don’t care how you look.

Now that you’re up and ready to go… LET’S GET WILD! TURN UP!

Since you’re going out somewhere that you can’t walk to, find someone to drive you. As most people know, everyone should always, always, always remember to get a good friend to be your designated driver.

“Hop in, I Gotchu Fam.”

Your wild night is a blast, but

you don’t really know what’s going on. In a confused daze you realize it was

very good thing you got yourself a DD. Tonight probably shouldn’t ever be

spoken of again…

At the end of that long night of craziness and fun, it’s always a plus when you get to wind down and cuddle with Bae.

*The morning sun creeps into your dorm window*

One of the worst parts about the weekend is waking up on that Sunday morning. After a few angry threats to the light, you’re finally awake. You didn’t even shower or wash up when you walked in the door before jumping in bed. The result? A very discontent, greasy slimeball monster that climbs out of bed at 12 noon…

Sunglasses and Advil…

Now comes the most anxiety-ridden part of any morning after… Checking your phone for embarrassment. After seeing pictures of how you made a total fool of yourself, you're in total shock...

You scroll through your phone and find this gem. Pretty rough right?

Ashamed, you never want to show your face again.

Ever again…

Until you realize that not ALL of them were SO bad!

After a lot of napping and homework stress on Sunday, your weekend finally has come to an end. You can’t wait to do it all over again next time. In the midst of your blissful weekend memories, depression hits you hard. “Just one more day. Why can’t the weekend be longer?” you ask yourself.

Why’s that you ask?

Well… Monday is right around the corner…

*This is future Monday morning you, wishing it was once Friday all over again*

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
