If you're anything like everybody else on the internet, you've probably had it with 2016 and can't wait to kick in the new year. The city of San Antonio is filled will hundreds of New Year's Eve festivities for you to partake in, some of which include a countdown to the new year and a firework showdown when the clock strikes 12:00am. As you prepare for an eventful weekend in town, here is a list of some of the best places in town to watch fireworks on New Year's Eve:

1. SeaWorld

Location: 10500 Sea World Dr

Every holiday season, SeaWorld San Antonio invites guests of all ages to enjoy brilliant shows, rides, and exhibits during their New Year's Eve Twilight Party. So go down with your family and friends to enjoy a night at the park!


2. San Antonio Parks Foundation

Location: Hemisphere Park

Ring in the New Year in the beautiful downtown San Antonio with the biggest (and FREE) party with San Antonio Parks Foundation. Fill your heart with live music, good food, carnival rides and the Fireworks Extravaganza at midnight!


3. Nectar San Antonio

Location: Nectar Wine Bar & Ale House, 214 Broadway St

Join Nectar Wine bar & Ale House on New Year's Eve as they kick in the New Year with lots of dancing, drink specials, party favors and a free champagne toast at midnight, while enjoying a live broadcast of the Downtown San Antonio fireworks from the convenience of the location.


4. Six Flags Fiesta Texas

Location: 17000 IH-10 W

Celebrate Near Year's in style with Six Flags Fiesta Texas! The park will be open from 12:00pm - 8:00pm for Holiday in the Park on December 31. Enjoy fun shows, new rides, great food and some good family time throughout the day and an elaborate display of fireworks at night. The park will commemorate the new year by illuminating the sky at 8:00pm on New Year's Eve with an extravagant showcase of colorful fireworks that can be seen from any location around the Six Flags area.
