For what came to be has risen,

up to the daylight.

He rose from the point of no return running from demons,

mortals delusional , and hypocrisy.

Journeys far and wide,

near and far hinterland.

Who is this stranger?

Came from the age of unrest,

technology all around,

parenting the globe, except in his sphere of influence.

Sheltered from the west but no longer of the east.

Cloth hides emotion,

for who needs love in a world of science?

Happiness is not essential.

Impact is his religion,

searching for the cure to his longing.

"If only I can save the world, then I'll find meaning", he ponders.

So he toils countless sunsets,

sacrificing his soul for humanity,

So he thinks…

Until he meets her.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
