Ariana Grande And Pete Davidson Called It Quits And I Called It All Along

That doesn't change how sad I am.

These last few months have been a season of love. Riding on the coattails of the beautiful royal wedding between Meghan and Harry (I can't wait for that to be a family of three!) was a season of engagement after engagement. First, it was Hailey Baldwin and Justin Bieber, then Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson, and finally Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas. It was a time where we were like, is it the new norm to get engaged after a month of dating? And what is in the water in the celebrity universe?

And, if I'm being honest, it was a time of real belief in young love.

Yet, even within all the many BuzzFeed videos and cutesy articles and talk show gushes, there was a cynicism lying around. Would these engagements actually last? Or would it be yet another celebrity couple that rips our hearts out like Chris Pratt and Anna Faris or Brangelina (still not over these, tbh). There was hope but, with any celebrity relationship, we doubt while masking our deep down hope for love to last.

But, as some called it all along, Ariana and Pete have called it quits. And already we are seeing the social media world speculate by asking if we saw it all along and analyzing every interaction looking for the hints of a breakup (although maybe they really should be looking in a mirror but that's neither here nor there). However, as someone who assumed this relationship wouldn't last forever, it did end quicker than I expected. Perhaps it was the social media buzz, the speculated prenup, or even the horrific tragedy of Mac Miller's death. Who can really know for certain?

However, I refuse to stop believing in love and we can all hope this is just a temporary break not a permanent end; only time will tell. So yes, maybe we did call it all along but that doesn't stop the shock and actual sadness I feel at this breakup. I can only hope that Justin and Hailey and Nick and Priyanka will last a little bit longer.

And whether you're heartbroken or been proven right let's all just remember Harry and Meagan are having a baby and get excited about that!

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
