Lets talk about the good ole days when boys had cooties and your girls were the only people who mattered. Times have changed for sure, girls are almost your worst enemy these days. I miss the days when girls night meant pigging out and watching rom coms instead of going out to bars and getting hit on by guys. Women are supposed to stick together and be the ultimate #girlgang. Instead we're all worried about being judged by one another. Feminist or not we need to stick together, because boys will come and go but your girlfriends are forever. Here are some ways we can start.

Stop judging one another. Whether you're skinny, curvy, tall, short, black or white it shouldn't matter because we are all beautiful. Girls are the first ones to notice what we wear and judge other women for either having a knock off Michael Kors bag or last seasons Tory Burch sandals. STOP. What does it matter to you what your fellow female is wearing? Love her like you love yourself. I'm not saying go out and be her bff just because, but stop talking crap behind her back. We have got to stick together. Think about how much better we would all be off if we didn't have to constantly worry about what other girls thought about us?

Stop being mean girls. This ties hand in hand with the first one. Whether you're in middle school or your mid 30s stop being mean. Why do you think we all want guy friends? Less drama. Well if we would stop judging each other and being so mean we wouldn't have any drama. Think about how often you see a rude comment on the internet tearing another women down. Why are we doing that to each other? Instead of sitting behind a computer screen tearing someone down, lift them up. Give someone a compliment and mean it. We all heard it best from our moms, "If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all."

Stop blaming society. Society is not the whole reason we all have such bad confidence. Most girls wear makeup and dress nice because they want to impress other girls and they do it for themselves, its not for you boys. I agree having the magazines retouch everything is stupid and we should all embrace every imperfection we have. What we also need to be doing is stop making skinny girls feel bad for being skinny. Yes big girls are beautiful and skinny girls are too. We all are! The magazines aren't what's making us have bad body image, it's what we hear being said about us by other women.

Lay off the labels. Slut, whore, bi***, fat, skinny, ugly, DUFF, you get the idea. These are all things we seem to call each other. Who even made up the DUFF thing? That's awful. I've personally eye witnessed a girls life being ruined by someone simply spreading rumors about her being a slut. A simple four letter word ruined her life. While that all might seem petty now, but at that moment it's all that mattered. Whatever your opinion might be on someone else's lifestyle choices, it is no excuse for name calling.

I don't know how we got to this point in life but I wish we could go back. I am not at all saying that I'm not guilty of some of these things as well. We're still humans we're not perfect. We need to just take a step back and look at what we're doing and what it does to other girls. Imagine the support system we could have if we stop doing all of these things to each other? We need each other. It's time to start loving one another and loving ourselves even more. It begins with you. Be proud of your imperfections, because you are beautiful, powerful and strong.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
