People! People everywhere! All they do is talk and laugh...and you know what? I am completely and utterly...OK with it! There are people in my life that I look at and cannot imagine my life without. Have you ever wondered why you were so blessed to have the friends that you have? Or how you got lucky enough to be born into the family that you are a part of? I do on a daily basis.
As for my mother, I swear we are the same person. My mother loves to cook, she loves children, and if it was not for her I would not be the woman I am today. She raised me as a strong individual who can stand up for herself when the time comes, but most of the time I do not have to because she is always there for me. Having five uncles and an innumerable amount of cousins helps too! My family is a huge part of my life...and not just because it is gigantic. Family means everything to me. I want to thank my mom for everything she has done for me, and you can tell her I said it!
As per the friends that I have made at college, what to say, what to say, what to say? The late nights, the tears, the laughs, the blood, the movies, the togetherness! When I came to Keuka I was nervous, but vowed to be me. I promised myself I would not hide in my shell anymore, and to not be afraid to be B! I want to thank you all for accepting me the way I am in all my crazy habits and my addiction to apples, and pineapples, and kiwis...OK fruit in general! We have done some crazy things and been through ups and downs but I am so grateful that we can bounce back from it all!
Oh geez! Did you think I could write anything and not acknowledge my roommate specifically? You must be crazy! Mckayla! Mac & cheese! MAC! My wonderful, crazy, golfing roommate. I love you, girl. When I moved in, I was all alone! Then you moved in and it has been non-stop laughter, even at 2 in the morning. I do apologize for my late night apple snacking. I found out the hard way that you cannot eat an apple quietly, but oh well! We have learned so much about each other and when I move in next semester, I will bring a stuffed panda in honor of you. We have so many memories and I cannot wait to make even more over Skype, and next semester! Happy Fanfictioning!
I know students have rough patches with administrators and teachers but I am ecstatic to have studied under the great people that I did in high school! I could name them, but then I'd forget someone and feel bad; to the teachers at LHS (Lackawanna High School), thank you for putting up with us in that education asylum! Not only did we learn the curriculum, but we got life lessons that no other school could possibly offer. Times were rough and our reputation is not the greatest, but we support each other through the slander and nobody messes with Big Blue!
