Roommates are a blessing. They become such a big part of our lives. We may not notice it all the time, but they do a lot for us. They don't ask for anything in return because they do it all out of love. What would we ever do without them? So, it is time to appreciate them more for doing the following things:

1. Putting up with you 24/7

You know you can be a handful, but they manage to be patient with you.

2. Becoming your second family

Your new family away from home.

3. Listening to you complain about everything

When you just need a rant session, they already know and just let you talk their ears off.

4. Having deep conversations with you

They are good for the soul!

5. Making jokes and uncontrollably laughing with you

You've managed to turn everything into a joke.

6. Accepting your weirdness

They've gotten used to your weird side and embraced it.

7. Cooking you meals

When you're just too lazy to feed yourself, but they come through.

8. Ordering you food

They already know your usual order, if that ain't goals.

9. Letting you borrow their things

Bless their good souls!

10. Helping you pick out clothes

Your judgment may be a little off sometimes, so having a second opinion or two definitely helps.

11. Encouraging you to wear THAT risky outfit

When you're feeling the outfit, but you're not too sure about it and you need a little push.

12. Hyping you up when you're looking like a snack

They know how exactly to make you feel like Beyonce does.

13. Making getting ready a lot more fun

You already know you're going to blast your go-to playlist for getting ready.

14. Being the voice of reason

When you're being irrational, they talk some sense into you.

15. Wilding out with you

Weekend shenanigans? Yes, please!

16. But, also staying in with you

Sometimes you're just too tired to go out and you'd rather watch movies all night in sweats while stuffing your face with junk food.

17. Supporting your bad decisions

From impulse buying to hanging out with that certain boy, they'll support you.

18. Preventing you from making REALLY bad decisions

But, if they know you're about to make the worst decision ever, they will stop you.

19. Motivating you to be a better version of yourself

They believe in you and push you to accomplish more in life.

20. Hating on the male population with you

Boys suck. Who needs them when you and your roommates have each other?

21. Having lazy days with you

It feels more right when you avoid responsibilities together.

22. Being down to do anything

Late-night runs to Walmart or McDonald's!

23. Working out with you even if they hate it

You suffer through the whole session together.

24. Understanding your need to be alone every now and then

They don't take it personally when you just want to be by yourself.

25. Keeping it real with you whether you like it or not

They're not here to sugar-coat things for you!

Go give your roommates a hug and let them know you appreciate everything they do for you! Don't take them for granted because not everyone gets lucky with their roommates.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating.
