Most people will tell you the best nights of your life are in college, and they're the ones you won't even remember. Though I can't vouch for that specifically, I can say that I personally find more joy in a night in with some of my favorite people. Here are eleven things you can do with roomies and friends on a night in.
1. Wine And Design.
Not all "Wine and Design" sessions have to take place in a studio. With wine, paint, canvas, and some good music, you can have the same experience from the comfort of your living room.
2. Tie dye.
Whether you make something to wear or to hang around the apartment, this is always an interesting idea. Just be sure to spare your carpet from any dye!
3. Roomie game night.
At my apartment, we do family game night. Myself and any of my roomies and our friends pull out a game of Clue whenever we have the time. Best played over pizza and drinks.
4. Movie night.
This is the least expensive of the options, as it only includes a Netflix account and the various types of candy you have lying around the apartment.
5. Weekly dinner prep.
Instead of making meals every single night, it's nice to have a day with your roommates when you all just stand around and cook for the week. Even if you just make side dishes to eat later, it's easier during the week and is enjoyable to do together.
6. Dessert experimenting.
There is an endless supply of dessert ideas on Pinterest. Choose three, buy all of the ingredients at Aldi, and surrender to the chocolate cravings.
7. Spa night.
We all used to do this when we were younger, but it's still fun use each others face masks and paint nails.
8. Study.
Though this is never how a college student wants to spend their weekends, it's usually one of the most important things to do. If your apartment has a pool, then take your study material and tan poolside together. At the least, you'll have someone to put sunscreen on your back.
9. Shop online.

10. Make apartment decorations.
No matter how pretty your apartment already is, adding a homemade painting never hurt anyone.
11. Sew/ Knit together.
If you're a beginner, think of something ridiculous to make for your roommate. Or, if you can all find a collection of old t-shirts, make a t-shirt blanket that can sit on the couch.
