Romper Takeover | The Odyssey Online

The 2014 trendy outfit has made a reappearance after a few years of hiding, and it can be spotted all over many college campuses.

Rompers have been noted in fashion history back to the early 1900s, when they were first designed for children. Today, college women are wearing rompers almost every day for any occasion. Trying to explain the love for rompers to men, however, is a different story. Men usually do not like rompers -- along with high-waisted shorts. In short,  According to Bridesmaids,“they’re a great color. They’re a great length. They’re fun. You can twirl. You can move in it. You can spread your legs apart. And they’re a great price.”

Deciding to wear a romper for the day, is a long process of figuring out if you are going to have to go to the bathroom. These dresses with shorts built in are impossible to pee in. You have to remove the whole romper and hope that your sturdy legs can hold up the entire romper while you are going to the bathroom.

When removing your romper, make sure you are in a safe area since you will be naked and do not let your romper hit the floor. If you decide to do the pull to the side -- make sure you do not get yourself wet. Put your romper back on and enjoy the rest of the day or night.

Another tip is to avoid wearing a childish-looking romper.  They were designed for children. The low v-neck rompers, with the low back forcing you to wear sticky boobs, were not intended for children, but it’s tricky to find the perfect romper. Once you find the perfect romper, you’ll want to wear it forever.

My first night out, I saw more than half the girls wearing rompers. Some wore the hottest, classiest, cutest rompers and others -- well, at least they tried to pull of the romp-look. Thanks to Tobi.com every girl has the same romper, but in a different color. It’s hard not to buy a new romper when Tobi has the 50 percent off sale every month. Even if everyone else ends up having the same romper, you can make it work by wearing it differently.

Rompers aren’t a simple outfit you can just throw on. They’re complicated with zippers and holes, but once it’s on you can dress it up. You can do this with statement necklaces or kimonos, which are also a current big trend. As summer dwindles down and the usual fall leggings and boot look takes the stage, rompers will be placed away for the year. However, the romper and tights look may come into play. A romper and tights is even worse to go to the bathroom in.

Watch out for the fall/winter season for the jumpsuit. It is a romper, but with pants. Perfect to keep your legs warm.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
