The date is Wednesday, November 17, and the "American Horror Story" finale is finally here. The whole season was a crazy whirlwind of carnage, TV shows and that epic plot twist. And tonight, fans grabbed their popcorn, maybe a blanket, kept the lights on, and settled in to watch the final episode, "Chapter 10." Here’s exactly what happened. Major spoilers ahead!

As teased at the end of last week, lone survivor Lee Harris is on trial for the murder of her husband and the three innocent people she killed during her time on "My Roanoke Nightmare" in the format of the show Crack’d. The evidence is compelling; she admits to everything on the footage recovered from the home. But her defense has its own angle. They claim Lee was suffering from hallucinations because of the drugs she took at the Polk residence. But then the prosecution calls on an unexpected witness: Lee’s daughter Flora, the only other survivor of the Butcher’s wrath. She tells the attentive courtroom that she witnessed her mother kill her father Mason. She adds she was hiding with the spirit of a little girl named Priscilla and suddenly she loses her credibility. Lee is acquitted of all the charges and released. She then makes her way to the popular show of an old fan favorite.

Lana Winters has come out of retirement to do an exclusive “Lana Winters Special,” consisting of a live interview with Lee. Lee chose to speak with Lana specifically because of what she had gone through in the events of "Asylum." In typical Lana Winters style, she gets right to the point and asks Lee the tough questions first. “Where is Flora?” is asked in an accusatory tone and Lee is furious, she has no idea where her daughter is. Before a follow-up can be asked there is the sound of gunfire outside the room they’re in and Lot Polk bursts into the room. He’s here for Lee, as revenge for the death of his mother and siblings. In a scene eerily reminiscent of that fateful moment Lana has with her son at the end of "Asylum," she manages to calm Lot down. Sort of. She knocks her out cold with his assault rifle but is fatally shot before he can attack Lee.

Next comes show #3 within the finale, with "Spirit Chasers," about a group of three paranormal investigators who go back to the original house again with the help of psychic Ashley Gilbert (Cricket from "My Roanoke Nightmare"). Their investigation takes a different turn when they run into Lee inside the house looking for Flora. She warns them to leave the house but it’s already too late. Everyone from "that" show dies, too, after the Pig Man and the Butcher appear. Now it’s just Flora and Lee left again. The police arrive and the scene is described as a hostage situation as Lee pleads with Flora to leave with her. Flora says she can’t leave Priscilla alone with the Butcher so Lee makes the ultimate sacrifice for her daughter. She kills herself and the house goes up in flames once Flora leaves. Now Lee can watch over Priscilla and protect her from the Butcher forever. The finale ends with the house in flames and the Butcher’s mob returning under the glow of the Blood Moon. And with that, another season of "American Horror Story" is in the books.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
