Riverdale is currently one of the most popular TV shows today. The comic-based show's season one finale aired on the eleventh of this month, leaving viewers in awe. The show was picked up for a second season a few episodes into the first, and season 2 is already on its way. Here is a ranking of Riverdale's beloved characters.

1. Cheryl Blossom

Cheryl is a complex character. As in she will do a somewhat nice thing and then a massive terrible thing. Like slapping Jughead, that was a big no-no. She's also really creepy, like a Victorian 21st-century teenager.

2. Archie Andrews

Archie Andrews went through four girls in one season, one of them being his high school music teacher. He's basically the new Elena Gilbert, the main character who everyone has to protect but doesn't really listen to anybody. But he does have a moral compass and is pretty loyal, so I'll give him that.

3. Veronica Lodge

She's pretty badass I have to admit, but she's sorta of annoying. She's constantly trying to blame her dad for all the crimes happening in Riverdale and she put Jughead's life at risk because of her obsession. She also makes herself more important than she actually is, yes you're a socialite blah blah blah.

4. Kevin Keller

Probably the most normal of the gang. Initially known as Betty's gay best friend, Kevin is the most innocent character in Riverdale and is the source of sarcastic comments aka what the whole fandom is collectively thinking.

5. Betty Cooper

Betty Cooper is the perfect girl next door with deep dark secrets. She's noble, loyal, and also has deep dark secrets that make her character complex and interesting. She's also one half of Bughead and everyone loves Bughead. If you don't please leave, just go.

6. Jughead Jones

Jughead Jones is the most lovable of the gang. He comes from a not-so-perfect home situation but has managed to capture all our hearts with that face. He's the bad boy that everybody can't help but falling for. His relationship with Betty Cooper has contributed to Riverdale's success.
