Everyone has a morning routine. Oftentimes it includes brushing your teeth, taking a shower, or eating breakfast. My morning routine is pretty similar, but I add a bit of a twist. I start every morning off right with my favorite YouTube comedy duo, Rhett and Link.

These two have been making their YouTube morning show, Good Mythical Morning, for 6 years and they keep getting better.

A typical episode consists of the two best friends sitting behind their iconic GMM desk, eating crazy food combinations, testing weird experiments, or quizzing each other on oddities of the world. Their conversations are hilarious and oh so entertaining.

Nothing about this show is normal. It is full of laughs and interesting games, making each episode unique and new. Rhett, Link, and their awesome crew are full of new ideas all the time, making sure the show never gets boring.

If I were to compare GMM to something, I would probably say that it is like a late show, except that it's in the morning. So maybe it's an "early show". Whatever that means.

However, it has segments and guests and it pokes fun at pop culture. The difference between a typical late show and this is that GMM is not run by a program like NBC, so they are not dictated to follow any sort of script or follow any certain agenda. With this in mind, the crew generally ad libs much of their show, making it fun and spontaneous.

While the show is pretty ridiculous, I enjoy it immensely. When I'm watching the show, I'm laughing and taking a break from the problems of life. I've been watching the show for so long, that I have come to feel connected to Rhett and Link, despite never having met them in person.

I believe that many of their faithful viewers (nicknamed the "Mythical Beasts") feel the same. Their daily dose of comedy gives me hope that the world is not as bad as it often seems.

Life can get really hard. Most of the time it's hard to see the good in the world, and it feels like all news is bad news. Stuff like this leads us to become increasingly pessimistic about life. In times like this, it helps to look on the bright side and laugh a little more.

They say laughter is the best medicine and I think this is very true. Laughter seems to heal all wounds and make every day a little brighter. Rhett and Link definitely bring a little more joy to my life every morning and have genuinely helped me cope with my mental illness.

For anyone looking for a little more humor, joy, and "mythicality" in their life, I highly recommend checking these guys out and make your next morning, a good mythical morning .

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
