Monty dropped his debut mixtape "Monty Zoo II," last week. It is a return from his other mixtape that he released in 2015. The mixtape features plenty of other artists and each one fits well into the tape. The production is well done, and each guest fits well with one another. Monty's right hand man, Fetty Wap is highly featured on the mixtape, along with young rookie Boogie wit da hoodie, a rapper who has blown up and has made a name for himself within the past year. PnB Rock is also on the project, along with Tapia and other artists named Guwii Kidz, Casanova, and more.

The tape is layered with 16 tracks clocking in at 57 minutes. It does a good job at not overstaying its welcome, and each song is not tediously long. Each song fits into another and raises the energy up.

Both Fetty Wap and Monty rep New Jersey; both are natives of the Garden State. They have a close relationship, and it shows in their winning chemistry in their music.

"Monty Zoo II," focuses on the typical rap genre's ideas with money, girls, and drugs. However, the tape centers on the idea of people not believing in you, but making it in society through hard work and passion. The whole project also brings a lot of energy as a whole.

The track "Know S**t," is my favorite song on the tape, lyrically and sonically. Monty raps with anger and nice flow saying, "Got so many diamonds in my Rollie you'd think time froze, Gettin' to the money cause the money on my mind though. You know how I'm livin', prolly in a different time zone." Boogie wit da Hoodie and Monty rap over a hard beat about their successes and rich lifestyles. Boogie wit da Hoodie chants the chorus which makes the song even better. There is also another version on the project with Fetty Wap and Don Q that is equally great.

The song "All Night," with Pnb Rock sings to a special woman. Monty is rapping about a girl that he thinks is special and that he likes. Pnb Rock delivers the chorus towards the girl to not play "games." The song "Her," goes off on the same idea of liking a certain girl that is attractive.

Another track "Play Off," featuring Fetty Wap has the same aspect like other songs of making it in the music industry and shining when it matters. It is talking to the haters or people who hated on them both in the past. Although, the song goes into them both having everything that they could ever want, cars, money, and women. They have been showing out in the playoffs, hence the title of the track.

A standout track "Super Charged," highlights that Monty is at his best with nice lyrics and flow. It is a song like "Know Sh**t," in being good production wise and lyrically. The video for this song is on YouTube as well.

Monty dazzled fans and listeners with what he could really do in the music industry. Above all, he created his own sound as did Fetty. He is proof that through hard work, dedication, and passion, anything is possible. The prodigy is putting New Jersey on the map, behind his other friend Fetty Wap. Now all eyes will be focused or shifting on Fetty Wap to deliver an album where Monty will most likely be featured on. It is safe to say that Monty is showing what New Jersey rap is all about. It is his destiny.

Standout Tracks: "M2 Intro," "All Night," "Super Charged," "Play Off," "50K," "Her," "Understand Me," "Know S**t (Remix)."

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
