Back in the fall of 2015, Kylie Jenner, the youngest of the Kardashian-Jenner clan, announced that she would be releasing a line of lip kits soon. Of course, due to her fame and popularity, as soon as she released her first lip kits, they sold out immediately. And this past spring, Kylie released a line of lip glosses to add to her collection of lip products. Her fans were wildly anticipating the glosses after she released a music video promoting them.
And just recently, I made my first purchase on a Kylie Cosmetics lip gloss. I was so excited to finally get it, that I wanted to review the gloss for those who are hesitant on purchasing them online.
I bought the lightest shade of all three, 'So Cute.' When it finally came in the mail, I couldn't help but try it on. And right after the first swipe of the gloss, I was hooked.
When I first started to apply the gloss, it came on a little patchy. Of course, I am not used to the brush applicator on her glosses, so it could have been my mistake. Besides the formula being pigmented, it also smells really good, almost like birthday cake. The formula of her gloss, and the thickness, lets the gloss stay on for hours if you are not eating or drinking anything.
On her website, the gloss alone is $15 with $8.95 for shipping. Now it does take them at least 3 to five days to process your order, before sending it out. And once they send your merchandise to you, it would usually take 3 to 6 days for delivery. Of course, if you are buying internationally, it takes 10 to 15 days for delivery. And even though that does suck, it is worth it for her amazing products.
Overall, my review for Kylie's lip gloss is that it is a great, amazing gloss. I am glad that I purchased the lightest shade, since I have very fair skin and the nude gloss goes perfectly with my skin tone. The formula is great, it stays on perfectly and isn't that sticky either. There is no sparkle to gloss, which makes it look more natural on my skin. The wait is totally worth it for her lip products.
