I am a college student, and my internal clock is 3 hours earlier than it probably should be. College students are painted to be the type of people to dread waking up for an 11 am, and here I am up every morning without an alarm at 8. I used to hate this about myself, because I was always so bored in the mornings, but I've come to realize the reasons this is one of my favorite traits. Most people think I am completely insane, but here are 5 reasons to rethink hitting snooze.
1. Breakfast
As you may already know, typically most places stop serving breakfast at 11, thus all of you who wake up at 1045 to (barely) make it to your 11ams, are missing out on this luxury. Even the dining halls have stopped serving breakfast.
2. A Quiet Campus
If you have never seen USF before 9 am, you're truly missing out. When the campus is quiet, and there is very few cars, or even people around the beauty of this campus is breath- taking. It's easy to over look it all when there's 40,000 people running around.
3. An empty gym
One of the most underrated things in life is an empty gym. There is no waiting, or sharing, and it makes for an amazing workout.
4. Fresh Coffee
5. A feeling of accomplishment
By the time noon comes around my friends are finally awake, and ready to start there day. Meanwhile, I have ate breakfast, gone to the gym, gone to class, and done my homework. There is no better feeling than having nothing left on your to- do list by 1 o'clock.
