David Crowder is probably most known for his cover of "How He Loves," which is sung during church worship services and known by many Christian contemporary music listeners. However, the singer from Texas is so much more than a song he didn't even write himself.
David has just released a new album, "American Prodigal," in which some of the funds go to support a charity for children. The album is said to go back down to bluegrass roots, but with a rock and roll vibe as well.
His performance at Seattle Pacific University on Saturday, October 8th was unique, refreshing, and felt deeply personal compared to most concerts I have been to, not to mention that it was held in the school's basketball gym.
He spent some of the time telling stories and talking about his album as well as telling jokes. After the concert, he met with some students and talked with them about life.
