We’ve all hit a wall. You become worn out from trying to complete too many tasks and be multiple places at once. It isn’t always possible. Take it from someone who schedules something for every minute of the day.
For those similar to me or finding themselves caught up in busy situations, have you asked yourself recently if you’re truly happy?
There’s always the argument of whether money can buy happiness or what the keys to a happy life are, but the true secret? It all depends. The secret to a happy life is all based on who you are. What are your likes, dislikes, hobbies, your priorities, and so much more.
Having a happy life is a lot simpler than what people try for. Basically, do what puts a smile on YOUR face. Sure money is necessary for certain parts of your life, but you don’t have to search for excess just so you can get a fancy car if that’s not what your priorities or goals are.
If you like hanging out with your significant other or your family, then work the necessary hours of the day and then go home for quality time with them. If you enjoy a certain lifestyle, then make that the center point of your life and don’t let it become clouded by everyone else’s influences.
Sometimes we let road-bumps and hardships get in the way of us smiling. We let anger grow because “other factors” are getting in the way of our happiness, when the truth is, it’s in our control. When you start getting overheated or in a low spot, try taking three deep breaths with your eyes closed or count backwards from ten or Google search puppy videos and let those work their magic, create a safe way of relaxing and calming your mind to a point of serenity that can take you back to your path of happiness.
The pursuit is happiness, are you on track?
Don’t forget to schedule a smile or two in your busy planner.
